Doors. Floors. & More.

What does 1 week of the flu, 1 quick vaca and 2 weeks of…Okay I don’t even know…get you? A late post. That’s what.

Oh my gosh. SO much has been happening in life, design, and house.

So let me catch you up to speed.

My grandma’s 78 year old antique dresser is complete! See allll the details and source list here.

Our Master Makeover is coming right along. Here’s what it looked like when I left you last, after fresh paint and some DIY Craftsman Window trim

After moving some things around, we agreed the bed looked way better on the shorter wall, rather than the longer. Two night stands will be perfect on each side. I plan to use two Ikea Rast 3-Drawer Chests, and make some fun adjustments to get the right look for the room. IMG_1084

We cleared out the room, cleaned the dirty tile, and made way for wood.

We installed the floors floating, right over the tile, glued together at the seams. We had gotten some good practice doing this in the kitchen & living room, in fact, I have a tutorial ready for ya 😉 IMG_1093

After the floors were done, we moved the furniture back in. I was sooo excited to move in the antique dresser I refreshed.

It makes such a statement when you walk into our bedroom. See all the details on this piece here.

More updates coming soon, as I wrap up the details in the master bedroom, and continue onto the living… Hint: there is more craftsman trim involved and, SHIPLAP

But before I go, I need your help! I’ll be painting the new craftsman front door interior this weekend. The trim will be painted white, but I’m undecided on the interior door color.

Should I go with a sagey green, like this

mint green

or a charcoal gray?

More to come. Stay tuned!!
